As a community-driven studio, we have a people-first mentality. You shouldn’t have to choose between your personal life or a healthy career.     The pandemic changed how we all work and where we work which is why dash pivoted to a hybrid-studio model. You’re welcome to work in our office or remotely in NC, FL, TX, GA, NY, & MA.

  • Employee matching

    Starting in 2023, dash studio is pleased to offer its staff a 401K retirement plan with employee matching from us. We could all use some help planning for retirement, so if you’re willing to invest your career with dash, we’re ready to invest in you.

  • Days off to recharge

    One of the biggest issues in the creative space is burnout. Tight deadlines, shifting schedules, and unexpected feedback are just a few of the challenges of working in the motion design industry. Throw a pandemic on top of that and burnout is a real issue. That’s why we am to take a couple of days off each month where the studio shuts down for us all to get a little rest and relaxation.

  • Take what you need

    Why is hustle culture glorified? Nobody wants to stay late or work weekends which is why we don’t. Good employees with great managers can get things done during the week and most importantly enjoy their time off. Dash offers a flexible vacation policy. What does that mean? If you’re accountable, getting your work done, you should take off what you need. Typically our staff averages about three weeks a year but we require that you take ten days at minimum; don’t be a workaholic.

  • 100% Healthcare Coverage

    Your health is important to us which is why we cover 100% of your healthcare premiums plus dental and vision as soon as you join the team. Planning on starting a family? We offer six to eight weeks for the primary caregiver and a minimum of two weeks as a secondary caregiver once you’ve been with dash for over a year.

  • All expense paid trip

    One challenge of working remotely is staying connected with your peers. We start everyday with a daily standup meeting to chat with the team over a video call, have bi-monthly 1-on-1’s to meet the team, use tools like slack to keep us connected, and at least once a year we have an all expenses paid dash retreat where we all fly into town to hangout, relax, and get to know one another better.

  • Along with our own festival (the Dash Bash) we also believe in attending conferences with our whole team or sending you on our behalf when we can’t all go.

The Right Fit.

  • You don’t have to be outgoing to work at dash but you should feel confident in explaining your work. We’re a passionate group of people who believe in quality and we expect our staff to feel comfortable explaining the “why” behind their work.

  • The best work happens together, not in silos. Individuals who succeed at dash are comfortable working with others, helping and collaborating with one another. Leave the ego at the door because dash is about group creative, not singular superstars.

  • Unfortunately our industry can be pessimistic at times. Deadlines change, new requests come in, and feedback can be late. But regardless of what is thrown at us, dash employees look at things with a positive light and a problem-solving attitude.
