Since 1857, the YMCA of the Triangle has strengthened the foundations of the greater Raleigh community and their passion for diversity and inclusion is something the dash studio team aimed highlight in their brand new anthem video. We used a dynamic, photo-collage approach for the animation that allowed us to highlight the main reason it's such a special place: their people.

Given the importance of this new anthem video, we wanted to be sure we chose the right creative direction. As a result, our initial style frame phase at the beginning of the project was larger and more varied than our typical approach. This allowed us to play around and explore more conservative options as well as some wild, avantgard explorations. The end result ensured we landed with a direction the entire YMCA would be proud of! Below are some of those early style frames designs.
